Based on earrings that JB Blunk made in the 1970s as a Valentine's Day gift for his wife, Christine Nielson, these reproductions are crafted by New York-based ceramic artist Simone Bodmer-Turner. The earrings combine her distinct, biomorphic sculptural style with Blunk's organic, hand-hewn approach, in her signature slightly crackled, matte cream glaze. An exact replication of Blunk's details, now fitted in recycled 18K gold details by Tess Young, complete the earrings.
