This small soy sauce pitcher is based on an original made by JB Blunk in the mid-1970s, as part of a series of soy sauce pitchers and soy sauce dishes. Reproduced by Oakland-based ceramicist Stephanie Intelisano, the piece honors Blunk’s belief in crafting all objects his family used in the Blunk House – from furniture to tableware – with intention. The small vessel is thoughtfully crafted from clay and glazed in a deep, rich blue and brown. Balancing utility and artistry, it carries forward Blunk’s legacy from his permanent collection to your home.
